Three transgender porn stars have revealed the discrimination and physical challenges they have faced as trans women working in an already controversial industry.
Morgan Bailey, 32, Chelsea Poe, 24, and TS Foxxy, whose 'porn age is 27', shared their thoughts on the fetishization of transgender women and the difficulties they have faced while working in the adult film industry.
'We're getting more visibility than ever, but it's been one of the most violent years for trans women,' Chelsea told

According to a recent report at least 21 people, almost all transgender women of color, have been murdered in the US during the first ten months of 2015.
When asked about derogatory terms like 'she-male' and 'tranny' being used to promote films staring transgender women, Chelsea revealed that she is receiving backlash from mainstream porn companies because she is openly challenging the use of those words as a marketing ploy that is 'essentially exploiting the community'.
'I still have friends who are being attacked and killed and having those same words screamed at them while they're being murdered,' she explained. 'So when people say, "Oh those words just exist in porn," that's bulls*** because porn doesn't exist in a vacuum.'
However, Morgan and Foxxy, who are older than Chelsea, said they are more forgiving of the terms when the are being used in the adult film industry.
Morgan explained that although she respects younger stars feminist views, she knows that there is no avoiding the fact that these types of labels are what makes films sell.
'When I first started doing porn I hated the word "she-male". But that's how you market yourself,' she said. 'If that's a tagline you have to throw on to make something sell, then that's what you have to do.'

She explained that when she approached about being an adult film star when she was working as a go-go dancer in Las Vegas, she didn't even know there is 'actual porn for transsexuals', but decided to try it out because she was 'already dancing half naked'.
'I was doing it for the money. I never thought about it as a career,' she admitted. 'I was just trying to get my breast implants and I wanted braces.'
Morgan she never intended to become a porn start, but when she was 24, she had just gotten out of relationship and started submitting pictures because she was 'looking for validation' at the time.
A few of the girls in the industry whom she spoke with online told her she wouldn't make it because all of her tattoos, which only made her more determined to get discovered.
'I did a scene and it just kind of snowballed ... I ended up building a really big career because of it,' she said.
Meanwhile, Chelsea who has only been porn for two years, said she started 'web-camming' and got booked for porn series after she went to see queer porn star Jiz Lee speak.

Chelsea said she also took medication for one of her first shoot, but it was a 'terrifying' experience because she was never told what it was.
'What ends up happening is a lot of trans women in porn have to go off hormones to perform,' she explained. 'And obviously doing that is super harmful to your body. It's like going through puberty again.'
And unsurprisingly, the women, who all entered the porn industry at different times in their lives, have different views on being fetishized.
Morgan said believes 'it's great that guys fetishize trans women', but she noted that men can be attracted to trans women without fetishizing them. However, she has no patience for people who has why she doesn't 'full transition' when they really want to know if she has a vagina.
But Chelsea said she won't deal with being considered a fetish. 'I'm a woman. If you like my porn, you're liking a woman's porn,' she said. 'Fetishization is about an object. We are not objects — we're women, we're people.'

Banjo gets anxious when he's left alone, but like most Labs, he's very food-driven. Mochi, our little guy, is just an extreme chewer. If he doesn't have something to chew on, he'll start nibbling holes in our living room rug. So when I know I'm going to be away for a couple of hours, I pull out the Kongs.

Most plush toys are no match for my dog, Junebug, who tears them to shreds within minutes. But this Fluff and Tuff ball takes her weeks to even get a thread loose. Consequently, she is obsessed with it and carries it with her everywhere (even though it's way too big for her little body -- an adorable bonus).

My dog loves two things (besides her humans): food and toys. And this puzzle blends both for endless fun. I received this dog treat puzzle as a gift, after months of rolling up towels and old T-shirts to make mentally stimulating toys for my chihuahua mix. Now, I use it whenever I don't have a chance to take my pooch on her long evening walk.
All the moving plastic parts make it look complex, but it's actually simple to set up. Just hide your choice of treats or kibble in the hidden cubbies, cover it with the plastic door, push the slider over to keep the door shut and that's it. I found it to be a great indoor option for my dog to burn some energy and test her brain, too.

My pup, Alistair, has been crazy about his Dogobie flying disc for as long as we've had him, which is going on 14 years. A disc made of flexible silicone, it's pretty much indestructible and as easy for me to toss as it is for him to retrieve, and it's easy to find in the brush after an errant throw, thanks to its neon colors.
